Thessaloniki Gay Pride

Thessaloniki Pride is the Pride of Greece's second city, held every June since 2012. In June 2024 the city hosted EuroPride. The festival week is political as well as social, with demonstrations alongside the parties.

The week usually runs Monday to Saturday, with workshops, film screenings, talks and book presentations, and the parade on Saturday evening. The parade leaves White Tower Square around 6:30pm, loops through Ethnikis Aminis, Tsimiski and Venizelou, and comes back along the waterfront on Leoforos Nikis to a closing concert at the White Tower. It is free and walkable from any central hotel, and the waterfront bars stay busy afterwards.

The 14th edition ran from June 15 to 20, 2026, under the motto "Break the Code". It included a Thursday-morning demonstration in support of victims of a transphobic attack in March 2024, timed to the hearing. We found no reliable crowd count. It usually takes place in the second half of June. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
