Thessaloniki Gay Pride 2026

Thessaloniki Gay Pride is Northern Greece's annual LGBTQ+ celebration. It's held in Greece's second city, a place known for its cultural life, Byzantine architecture, and big student population.

The parade runs along the city's waterfront and through Aristotelous Square. Tens of thousands show up. It's become one of the bigger Pride events in the Balkans.

Thessaloniki matters as a regional hub. LGBTQ+ people from North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Albania come here. For them, marching in a parade like this would be impossible or dangerous back home. The city's student population and its general cosmopolitan vibe make it one of the more welcoming spots in southeastern Europe.
