About this place Nudes Craft & Cocktail

Nudes Craft & Cocktail sits on Lavitt's Quay, facing the northern channel of the River Lee, and styles itself as a New York-inspired cocktail bar that doubles as a safe space for Cork's LGBTQ+ community. The drinks list leans into serious cocktails and craft beer, and the kitchen turns out toasties and burgers - it works as well for an early evening as for a night out. The queer programming is the point of difference: regular LGBTQ+ nights such as Sounds Queer To Me bring DJs and performers through, and the bar is a fixture on the Cork Pride calendar each summer. It is the laid-back counterpoint to Wilde: come here for conversation and cocktails, then walk five minutes to Oliver Plunkett Street when you want a dancefloor. The Roundy is around the corner on Castle Street.

Met friends for cocktails and loved the relaxing vibe of the pub. There is a mix of tables and built in seating with a few pillows spread around. It was surprisingly bigger inside than it looked from the street with two tables on sidewalk. The upstairs area wasn't available so I'll have to check it out next time. The music was older pop and kept at a reasonable volume so people could still have conversations. Not sure if they served any pub grub since no menus in seating area. Drinks were priced at Cork City averages.

Pub was dead, was charged €25.30 for a pint of beamish and a cocktail listed at £13 on the menu

Stumbled into this bar accidentally and was really impressed! Between the old school rap, incense burning and just overall lighting and vibe of the place, I really enjoyed it. Interesting cocktail menu too!
