About the event

A pub door opens. The year shifts. Dublin’s queer past is waiting inside. Between 1973 and 1993, Irish queers gathered in pubs to play, flirt, dance, organise and explore paths toward previously unseen futures. Led by temporal tour guide Hana Laine Flamm, this walking tour and pub crawl through time and space brings you into Dublin’s formerly gay pubs, where real oral histories and performance uncover the hidden life of familiar places. This show features a curated drink pairing at each venue, alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available. Supported by: Creative Ireland's Creative Communities, Dublin Fringe Festival’s Make Space for Art Fund & axis: Ballymun’s Assemble Programme. Developed at Dublin Fringe Festival Studios.
