George Hotel Limerick City

I will suggest anyone to stay here so central and staff overall was so helpful and especially the breakfast staff they are a great and always a fantastic smile with nothing to big or to small to do for a guest

We stayed for two nights in mid-May 2026. The hotel is very well located, one block from the Shannon River and half a block from the main street. The staff was very friendly. The room was lovely and comfortable, and despite facing the main street, it was very quiet. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Lovely rooms, if a little tight on space but expected in a city centre. Very clean, with great service.

A horror show and fraud from start to finish. Their 'family rooms' are just a regular double with amenities removed and two single beds shoe horned in. The room was 90 degrees hot! No operable windows. No fans. No A/C. And 4 people supposed to suffer through it. Then the toilet wouldn't flush. We complained but were told there was no A/C "due to the weather". We were promised a fix for the toilet and a tower fan for the room. The tower fan didn't work in the 3 outlets tried in the room. The toilet was not fixed. I was told that they would move us to a different family room, and we were given new keys. Shortly after we were moved to ANOTHER room. The new room had A/C!!! Why were we told there was none? Are Americans shunted to sub-par rooms? On check out we were told that our parking ticket could be paid off at 12 euro rather than the 29 euro at the parking garage. I paid it...and then had to pay 29 euro at the parking garage anyway! Swindlers, frauds, cheats. Do NOT stay here. You will be treated poorly by Savoy and their staff.

Went for a meal with my 2 daughters, excellent service, great food . Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thank you.

Just had dinner here for our son's graduation and it was fantastic. Food was amazing and service was top class!

Two night stay, excellent experience. Everything was CLEAN clean and in good repair. We were early for check-in and our booked room wasn't ready so they upgraded us for free. Room was nice size and most importantly clean. Bed was comfy and we slept well. In house restaurant was nice if a little pricey. Spicy fries were super yummy! Located right in the middle of downtown, within 15 minute's walk of tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions.
