They cancelled our reservation and kept the full payment for the stay; furthermore, the next day we discovered that they had already sold the room we had reserved.

They close at 19:00, cancelled my reservation and charged me

The place is beautiful, spotless, quiet, and has good service, but at the moment it doesn't have a kitchen. It's relatively close to the bus station, as far as the crow flies.

I stayed one night with my 5-year-old daughter. When we checked in, all of our luggage was sprayed with disinfectant. I should have thought more deeply about why they were disinfecting it. This hostel had bed bugs. The next day, after checking out, I started to have a slight allergic reaction, and after a while, a rash appeared all over my body. It got progressively itchier and was very painful. The itching didn't go away for over a month. I was lucky that only I was bitten and my child wasn't. I regret not noticing that other people had also mentioned the bed bugs. The room was bright and clean, but it was very disappointing that there were bed bugs. They should hire a pest control company. Also, it was disappointing that we couldn't use the kitchen.

I did not have a bad experience, though I was quite concerned after reading the reviews. I am giving it four stars, because there was very little to complain about while I was there. But I urge everyone to read other reviews and to think twice before coming here. The swings between 1 and 5 stars are so dramatic, that it is indicative of poor management. So come at your own risk. My train was delayed because of a strike, and the lady in the reception was kind enough to offer to stay an additional hour to wait for me, in case the worst happened. That's good service. She was also very clear and informative when I came to the hostel, and did her job perfectly. This was the asian-looking receptionist. If the owner sees this review, give that girl a raise, and hire more people like *her*. Because the owner is clearly not capable of running a place like this, judging from their behaviour online. The rooms were okay, no complaints. Locker for personal items. Clean and tidy, with a nice calming evening lamp. The mattress smelled a bit odd. There is AC, but it let out so little air that it was practically useless. It's not that expensive - just turn it up a little bit more so we all can sleep well. Good shower and facilities. Excellent location.
