SAVHotel Bologna

Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a great size, clean and powerful shower. There’s also a brilliant rooftop with a jacuzzi. Location wise it is a bit further from the city centre, but my partner and I love walking so we were fine. It’s probably 30-40 min walk into the heart of Bologna however there is a bus that goes direct if you don’t want too. Had a lovely stay here!

I stayed at Savhotel for 5 nights when attending a conference in Bologna. This is a strategically located hotel. Within walking distance from restaurants, supermarket, and the Congress center. Upon my arrival, I was greeted warmly by the staffs. They catered to all my needs. The room itself is very clean, and comfortable. It has good sound-proofing, but the neighborhood is quiet in general. It is worth the price as well.

Amazing experience, what a great Hotel! Location was good, but it is a 20-30 min walk to get in to the nice parts of Bologna. It's quite a unique hotel! Lovely to have a chill are on the roof top with a little jacuzzi. We made the most of that! The whole hotel feels quite arty and quirky. Love the free coffee throughout the day from the machine. Great rooms!! All you can ask for from a room. Spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and nice food too. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Nicole helped us and advised us on lots of other places to visit in Italy, which we certainly intend to do! (Sorry this review is so delayed, as we stayed around 5 weeks ago)

Positive: + Double room 509 is recommended and offers a great view of the city. + Very friendly staff, especially at reception. + Good breakfast (good selection, air-conditioned seating inside, and a nice outdoor area). + Quiet location (supermarket and drugstore 5 minutes away). + About a 20-minute walk to the city center. + Small rooftop bar with a whirlpool, shower, chairs, tables, and loungers (no bar; food and drinks can be taken upstairs). + Free water and coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. Negative: - Staff in the breakfast area were slow and untrained, and there was a lack of bowls, cutlery, cups, etc. - Only one coffee machine at breakfast, which was sometimes out of order. - There was a problem with our safe. Overall, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would book this hotel again.

The room was cozy, the location was convenient, and the service was friendly and well-organized. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Clean rooms, modern hotel, continuously helpful and friendly concierge, fresh breakfast that was inclusive of my gluten-free diet, and the location was a 9-minute walk literally down the street from the conference center! The area does not have very many restaurants and places to eat around, so if you want to explore Bologna, you’ll have to head to the city center. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar, but I didn’t eat there so I can’t report on it. Would highly recommend especially if you’re heading to the conference center!

Fabulous stay at the Savhotel Fiera. Staff is very helpful and always nice. The breakfast is very generous and lots of options to choose from. The dinner menu is limited, but delicious. The room is clean and functional. Safe inside the room.
