Putì

Had a great dinner at Putì! I ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole and the Caprese Siciliana, and both were delicious. The wine recommended by the staff paired perfectly with the meal. A special thank you to Antonio and the rest of the team. Everyone was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu in English, since it was only available in Italian. They also showed me the fresh fish of the day and made some great recommendations. The food was excellent, the service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend Putì to anyone visiting Catania!

We ordered Pasta Della Chef and Polio in Crema. The place was nice, and the pasta was delicious, but I can't say the same for the octopus.

An impeccable restaurant in every way. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and always available. The fish is incredibly fresh and of the highest quality, and you can taste it from the first bite. Special mention for the desserts, truly excellent. Highly recommended!

Dear Googles, we have enjoyed dinner in Puti with fish dishes and bruschetta and Tiramisu to share. The waiter is very helpful and multi-lingual. The fish dishes were amazing and we would recommend Puti as the show that very good cousine does not has to be expensive. My 5 starts are for all: food, service and value.

The food was very good and the service was fine. The reason I have given three stars is because of the price. It was exorbitant given what I ate. They'll say it was because I had a fresh fish, but that doesn't justify the price. €85 for a meal in a trattoria is outrageous.

My wife had found this restaurant before our trip to Catania and the reviews and photos convinced us to give it a try... and we we're not disappointed. We even went two nights in a row. For context, our first visit happened at the same time that Kid Yugi was performing an open air at Villa Bellini which is just across the road, so we sat inside. Definitely check in advance if there's concerts taking place if you plan to visit. The service was excellent with the menu explained from a board rather than being handed a menu, including recommendations. We had been advised that the tuna is in season but we were both thinking pasta. Both the dishes we chose were absolutely delicious and there was tuna with my wife's Marinara which prompted goingagain on our second night for a lightly seared tuna steak. Desert had to be tiramisu but also a pistachio mouse. The wine and birra recommendations went perfectly with the meals. The Sicillian limoncello really hit the spot. Service, atmosphere, and quality over both visits made us feel welcomed and comfortable. It set us up on our first day to take a late evening stroll around the city. When we get to return to Catania we will visit again and try the recommended dishes.

Great service, excellent food. The waiter, Antionio was amazing. We did not eat their fish, although it looked excellent. The meat and vegetable meals were fantastic! I would recommend this place to anyone, but especially groups where some people eat fish/sea food and others don’t. Everyone will have an excellent experience!
