This hotel is strategically located in Padua, close to the city center and a short walk from the train station. It offers a good breakfast, comfortable rooms, and efficient services.

Right by the train station, This hotel is okay but in no way grand. Barely adequate because while the room was a good size, it was not fully clean and had ants that invaded our luggage.

I recently stayed at the ByPillow Grand Central for a weekend break, and I would like to leave a constructive review. The hotel is aesthetically very beautiful, fully in line with the ByPillow concept, but this particular property in Padova truly needs a considerable amount of “tender loving care.” I say this as someone working in the hospitality industry as General Manager of several hotels, so my intention is not to criticize for the sake of it, but to point out details that, although seemingly small, can significantly affect guest satisfaction and the overall stay experience. Positive Notes - The reception team was genuinely excellent. - Martin and the entire front office staff were extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. They truly did their best to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Breakfast food quality was actually very good. Main Issues The breakfast room is utterly noisy. Simple felt pads under the chairs would already make a huge difference to avoid damaging the floor and to reduce the constant clinking and scraping noise during breakfast service Bathroom amenities are far below what I would expect from a 4-star hotel: no proper bathroom set, no glass for toothbrushes and toothpaste, almost no amenities except a small soap and a basic foam dispenser. Housekeeping felt extremely approximate: slippers left randomly on the floor, bathroom cleaning not properly completed, visible dirt and lack of attention to detail, Sound insulation is extremely poor. Street-facing rooms are extremely noisy, especially considering the proximity to the station area: people outside speaking loudly night and day, nearly impossible to sleep properly. Even on higher floors, traffic noise remains excessive, including with windows fully closed. Breakfast service organization felt a tad chaotic: staff in a rush, running left and right no calm atmosphere overall feeling of disorganization despite the good food quality Unfortunately, the biggest issue seems structural. The renovation made the hotel visually attractive, but in my opinion something was not properly addressed regarding soundproofing and air circulation. At times the rooms felt stuffy and almost suffocating, with very little sense of proper ventilation. I honestly believe this property has strong potential because aesthetically it spotless and the staff is genuinely kind, but several operational and structural aspects urgently need improvement if the goal is to deliver a true 4-star guest experience.
