About This Event
Umbria Pride is the regional LGBTQIA+ pride march for Umbria. It moves between the region's main cities: 2025 was in Terni and 2026 went back to Perugia. The Perugia association Omphalos promotes it, and in 2026 more than 60 groups signed its political manifesto.
It is a single afternoon march. In Perugia people gather at the Arco Etrusco in Piazza Fortebraccio, across from the Università per Stranieri. The march leaves at 4pm and winds up through the historic centre. The night before, a party called Mezzanotte Arcobaleno fills Corso Cavour and Borgo XX Giugno. Perugia's old town is on a hill, and the Minimetrò runs up to the centre from the Fontivegge station area.
The 2026 march was on Saturday 13 June under the slogan Scomodə (uncomfortable). La Nazione called it the best-attended edition ever, with thousands marching, but gave no number. The 2027 host city and date hadn't been announced when we checked.
