Omphalos LGBTI

Omphalos is Perugia's — and Umbria's — main LGBTQIA+ association, active since 1992 and the local hub that ties together Arcigay and Arcilesbica. Its headquarters at Via della Pallotta 42, just below the historic centre, doubles as a community space where the group runs support groups, social evenings, cultural projects and volunteer training. Omphalos operates the Centro Antidiscriminazioni LGBTI+ (CAD), the first multi-service anti-discrimination centre in the region, offering free and confidential help — psychological, legal, health, housing and workplace support — to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people across Umbria. The association is also the driving force behind Umbria Pride, coordinating the regional parade together with partner groups from Terni, Amelia and beyond.
