AX The Palace Malta

I spent a day by the rooftop pool and it was excellent. The service and staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the ambiance was relaxing and vibrating with summer energy.

We stayed at the AX Palace for one week in the View Suite located on the 8th floor with views overlooking Violetta. The room was very spacious with an extra large balcony and a hot tub and was cleaned daily to perfection by SANOM a lovely lady,always friendly,smiley and polite an absolute credit to the housekeeping team. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The hotel is in a perfect location, just a five minute walk to the sea front where you can catch the ferry across to Violetta. We would highly recommend the AX Palace and would have no hesitation if returning to Malta to stay here again

Gorgeous hotel, amazing staff nothing is too much bother. Breakfast amazing, tea hot and fresh first time on a long time getting a decent cup.of tea. Only one snag, no english tv, no music channels, english plugs so no need for adapters- just like some background noise whilst getting ready. Hubby wasn't well the first couple of days, the downstairs staff were 10/10 helping is get him get well again, thank you 🥰

We stayed 11 nights at AX The Palace and had a room on the 6th floor with a magnificent view of Sliema and the sea. The location is fantastic 👍; everything is within 500 meters: the ferry to Valletta, good restaurants, the bus 🚌, and the promenade. We booked with breakfast included (a very good selection with something for everyone). The rooftop pool and bar on the 9th floor are great and offer a fantastic view of Valletta and the sea. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Many thanks to the team at The Palace 👏👍. It was a wonderful first stay in Malta 🇲🇹 for us at The Palace 🤩.

Outstanding hotel in a brilliant location - 10 mins to restaurants and promenade. Arrived to a handwritten welcome note from the Guest Relations team and a lovely welcome amenity of fresh fruit and Maltese pastizzi — small touches that made a big impression. We booked a Junior Suite for three adults — plenty of space, and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was exceptional — fresh fruit, continental and full cooked hot breakfast, plus a live omelette station. As Muslim travellers we were delighted to find all chicken was halal, a thoughtful touch that made a real difference. The reception staff were exceptionally attentive throughout — always helpful and a genuine credit to the hotel. We made great use of the sauna and indoor pool every evening — both open until 9pm, ideal after a full day of sightseeing. The outdoor infinity pool closes at 6pm so we didn't manage to use it — something to factor in if you're out and about during the day. Practical bonus: there's a Lidl just around the corner — great for stocking up before day trips, especially if you have a hire car. There's also a beautiful church opposite the hotel; the bell rings every 15 minutes but you quickly get used to it! Perfectly positioned for exploring Malta — buses, the seafront promenade and the ferry all on the doorstep. Would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Nice room (a bit dated, but clean and well-maintained). Good fitness facilities. The best thing is the two rooftop pools. There are plenty of sun loungers, and you can order food and drinks at the bar. The breakfast buffet was also good, with a wide selection of food. The location is good too; there are many restaurants nearby, and you can quickly reach the promenade for a stroll.
