Milkshake Festival Amsterdam 2026

Milkshake is Amsterdam's explicitly queer music and arts festival. It's two days in Westerpark: multiple stages, big-name pop, electronic, and dance acts, visual art, drag. The crowd is as mixed as they come.

Started in 2009, Milkshake now pulls 30,000 people over two days. It's known internationally as one of Europe's most inclusive, genuinely queer-programmed music festivals.

The 2026 edition lands in late July. It's part of the WorldPride 2026 program, so it's a big piece of the city's longer Pride celebration. Milkshake isn't the Canal Parade — this is a music festival with real production and serious bookings. But the same radical inclusion, that specific Amsterdam queer sensibility, connects them.
