ITC Hotel Amsterdam

I was very disappointed with my stay. The listing did not clearly advertise that the bathroom would be shared with other guests, and finding that out after arriving was extremely frustrating. If I had known beforehand, I would have booked somewhere else. On top of that, the room was very hot and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Between the lack of transparency about the shared bathroom and the uncomfortable temperature, this stay did not meet my expectations. I would recommend that the hotel clearly disclose the shared bathroom arrangement in the listing so future guests know exactly what they’re booking.

A somewhat unpleasant stay. The location was good. The carpet in the entrance to the apartment smelled quite bad in some areas. Upon entering the room, we found a ball of hair on the floor. There were handprints on the headboard. The corner of the shower was dirty. We found a box of tissues in the bathroom that we thought belonged to the hotel, but when we took them, we realized they were dirty. The bathroom mirror light wasn't working, nor was the blind on one of the windows. We felt a bit uneasy, thinking that perhaps the room wasn't very clean, and we didn't sleep well. They should have given us the location of the parking lot beforehand because you can hardly stop the car anywhere to go in and ask.

The room was in another building across the street. The corridors smelled like cigarettes. The room has insects. The bathroom smelled like sewers and had mold. The shower drained slowly. The bedsheets and towels were stained. Maybe this is what you expect for the price in Amsterdam but compared to other cities it was terrible.

The reception were truly friendly and kind. The hotel is also close to alot of interesting places and also to train, direkt at the hotel. I come again.🫰🏻

Overall really worth your money for the location and experience. I stayed at two different rooms and they were both relatively clean. People at the reception are really nice as well. Really steep stairs at the top.
