This is a low grade hotel. No elevator. Noisy. Small rooms. No air con just a noisy fan. A glass bottle recycling bin outside on street was annoying due to people throwing glass in. Location is pretty good. Easy to walk everywhere and near the tram line. Tiny bathroom with tiny shelf. Leaky shower. The only good part of this hotel is the staff who served a very good breakfast. Kudos to them.
Positive: The staff were helpful and friendly. To improve: The bathrooms are extremely narrow; your legs hit the toilet doors. You can hear everything from the rooms, and on more than one day (I woke up early at 7 am), they don't clean the bathrooms and showers until after 8:30 am. Everything was dirty and full of paper. If you're traveling with large suitcases, be aware that there are many stairs.
Amazing hotel and amazing staff!! Me and my girlfriend felt so welcomed and the vibe was immaculate. Awesome food too!
I enjoyed my experience when I was there. lol it was called a "hostel" when I was there and now it's called a "hotel" - guess that brings more money. Good place to stay, shared rooms with strangers who had come in the night after our arrival, but no big deal. Was able to purchase an icy cold can of Heineken beer straight out of the soda vending machine for 25 cents.
