What's truly impressive is the central location. The room is—as expected—very small, but ideal for one or two nights. There were no problems with the deposit either. When I read here that some people are complaining about a lack of an elevator or narrow stairs, those are really first-world problems in an old building in Amsterdam.

This hotel is the worst hotel myself and my partner ever stayed in! Even he said it and he's never bothered about where we stay. Rooms were tiny, It was run down. I've stayed in nicer hostels so I don't know how this is a 3 star hotel. The "canal view" didn't exist! It was a view of a roof. The stairs are extremely steep. We didn't have too much of an issue with this Our room was on the third floor. Anyone with mobility issues beware.I'm glad we only stayed there 2 nights. It was clean and in a decent location. That's honestly the only good thing I can say about it.

Room was ok, very steep stairs to the room. Room got bed bugs I'm sure as i had little bumps on my leg the next day. Was booked as my flight was canceled so had an extra night and wanted a Central hotel. Location is very good. Staff were fine, they did their jobs well and spoke english

My partner and I stayed for three days in a room and everything was fine. Clean and with excellent service. They refunded our deposit without any problems. The only thing to keep in mind is the staircase, which might be difficult for some people. The location is okay.

I recommend it. The only downside is the steep stairs. Clean, good food. Friendly service.
