Great hotel close to everything.
This hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Maastricht. The staff is friendly, the room is adequate, the bed a bit too soft for my liking, the bathroom is small, and the shower is quite uncomfortable as water splashes out. The breakfast was very good, though. Overall, I consider it a good hotel for visiting the beautiful city of Maastricht.
We spent one night at this hotel for €255… and the experience was extremely disappointing. The room, located on the ground floor, was cold, with a window that couldn't be opened. The soundproofing was catastrophic: we endured street noise (parties, traffic, etc.) all night long, as well as noise from breakfast the next morning. The most shocking thing was the receptionist's reaction when we reported these problems: the young woman simply told us she knew there was noise, without any empathy or offer of a solution. At that price, it's simply unacceptable. The value for money is disastrous, and we feel we paid a completely unjustified price for such poor service.
Hotel in a characteristic building close to the city center. The room was very small, but the bathroom and toilet were relatively spacious. Despite the location on a busy street, there was hardly any noise from outside. Good breakfast with nice fresh products. Very friendly staff.
