The hotel is quite old-fashioned; you have a key instead of a key card, which is the case at most hotels, there is no elevator, and the stairs are narrow. The staff was friendly, though. The room was not cleaned properly. We found the following: the floor was dirty, the toilet had not been flushed, and there were several spots of mold in the bathroom near the shower. The bed was unstable and very hard. I would not stay at this hotel again myself.

Not for fussy travelers. I had to pass by Maastricht for a day so I booked a room here. Good location, short walkable distance from the station. Room was dim. Hotel had steep narrow stairs. The floors were a bit dusty. The building's quite old so the windows were low and wide. I stayed on the first floor (2nd level), and people on the streets can totally look up and look into my room. I kept my curtains mostly closed. Toilet was old and a little run-down. The hotel is really part fast-food restaurant so my room smelled like fried food the whole time. I didnt think that the room was of good value for the price I paid for, but it was a weekend and I didnt have that many options. It was just for a night so I was ok with putting up with the room.

AMAZING EVERYTHING YOU NEED

Due to overbooking in Maastricht for the André Rieu concert, we ended up in this hotel. The term "hostel" would be more accurate for this accommodation. We were put in an attic room on the third floor. The furnishings were sparse, but at least it had its own bathroom. Everything was very, very old, but clean except for the grout in the bathroom, which was worn and partly black. It can't be cleaned properly; it needs to be replaced. The room had no television. Not that we needed one, but it's pretty standard these days. Overall, we were a bit shocked when we arrived: €190 a night for an attic room is beyond outrageous. The narrow and steep staircase should also be mentioned, but this seems to be quite common in Maastricht hotels. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city center and a 2-minute walk to the train station. But you couldn't sleep without earplugs. Surrounded by pubs and noisy tourists. I can't understand the reviews praising the friendly service. There's practically no service at all. You have to ring the bell to get in. You might end up standing outside for a few minutes before someone answers. The employee wasn't unfriendly, but he didn't seem to care either. In short: a place to stay overnight, nothing more. In normal times, i.e., without events in Maastricht, it's probably reasonably priced.

Highly recommended for a great trip to Maastricht. Superb location (even if a bit noisy), clean rooms, excellent service. Would definitely stay again.

It's not bad for a one-night stay, but if you're looking for a longer stay and have high standards, I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you're looking for this place because of its location, it's excellent, as it's close to the train station and other important places, as well as the city center. I should warn you that the smell of kebabs is overwhelming throughout the hallways, but the service and attention are good, thanks to the staff's friendliness and courtesy. Another thing to add is that for what I paid, I expected at least a hairdryer and Wi-Fi in the room.

Don't expect a five-star luxury hotel, and you won't be disappointed. 24/7 reception, working bathrooms (hot water and water pressure), and clean linens. Okay, it's all a bit run-down, but it's also half the price of everything else in Maastricht. The owner even opened the chip shop at night to make us fries.

We stayed one night. The room was on the first floor, clean and adequate for an overnight stay. The toilet and shower were in the hallway, working ok. A quiet night, despite a few knocks on the door. Good location. Various restaurants nearby.
