Everything was great: the receptionist, the rooms, the location. All the bad reviews are from people who can't afford a five-star hotel but demand the feeling of sleeping in a five-star hotel at a "rest" hotel. I was able to rest, sleep well, nobody bothered or interrupted me, and when I left they said "bye bye," and it was wonderful to hear words from my own language in those parts.
Expect a bed and a shared toilet and shower. Good for after a night out. I wouldn't bring my girlfriend; you really want your own bathroom then. It is noisy, like a hostel. Received friendly and helpful assistance. Location perfect.
Only advantage is location. Rooms are so small, no price-benefit balance
The rooms are basic, clean, and tidy. Nothing wrong with that. The bathroom facilities are clean. The reception is open 24/7. The hotel is run by a very friendly man. Excellent value for money. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Vrijthof and a 2-minute walk from Maastricht Central Station. Paid parking is available near the hotel.
