Tri-City Pride
About This Event
The Tri-City Equality March, organised by Tolerado, has been held in Gdańsk since 2015. It's the Pride march for Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot.
The early years were rocky: in 2016, nationalist counter-protesters blocked the route and clashed with police.
Mayor Paweł Adamowicz opened the march in 2017, and the 2019 edition was dedicated to him after his assassination that January.
It takes place on a Saturday afternoon in late May or June, running through Gdańsk's city centre.
In 2026, Mayor Aleksandra Dulkiewicz led the front with deputy mayors of Gdynia and Sopot.
Turnout's been around 7,000 to 10,000 in recent years - 7,500 showed up in 2024.
The 11th march happened on 6 June 2026, with the slogan "Równość wieje od morza" (Equality blows from the sea).
It started at Skwer Świętopełka, went through Wały Piastowskie and Wałowa, and ended at the Imperial Shipyard.
Two government ministers were in the crowd, and city officials reported several thousand participants.
The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
