Spółdzielnia Ogniwo

Spółdzielnia Ogniwo is a cooperative-run bookshop and cafe at Smolki 11a in Podgórze, south of the river in Kraków. It's openly LGBTQ+-friendly. The shelves lean towards social, feminist and queer titles, mostly in Polish, and the space hosts talks and community events. Google gives it 4.8 from about 470 reviews. It's a good place for coffee and a quiet read, and the people there can tell you what's happening in the local queer scene. There are no hours on file, so check its social media before you go.
