Perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle, we loved our stay, everything was perfect. To interact with the donkeys, just ask at the accommodation so we can arrange a visit. We recommend the place and will return.

Sun and tranquility. Animals and nature. Good food and a wonderful pool. It has everything! I recommend it.

We loved our stay at Burro Ville! It's secluded enough to enjoy the tranquility, but close enough to the center of Portimão to be convenient. The donkeys are on the neighboring property; we scheduled a visit and they are very friendly, the children loved them! You can't ride them and they don't stay with us by the pool – it's safer that way! Quite a few flies, but that's part of being in the countryside. The pool is great!

We had such a wonderful stay at Burro Ville by Host Wise! The property is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a cozy terrace to enjoy the sunset. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, served with great attention to detail. The pool area and gardens are lovely, and the whole atmosphere feels calm and private. It’s a short drive to Portimão and the beaches, but being tucked away in the countryside makes it extra special — a great place to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and authentic Algarve experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Deceived by the text and photos!! Perfect for those seeking peace!! But in the end, the place doesn't match the photos!!! My daughter was excited to interact with donkeys, but when we arrived, there were no donkeys!!! Only on another plot of land! The person in charge just keeps making excuses for why the donkeys aren't there!!! The photos and text say "Burro Ville" Donkey Village, when you arrive there are indeed donkeys but not like in the photos, good plots of land on the sides, donkeys, horses..... I only paid to sleep!!! But I went because of the donkeys! Airbnb refunded €14 and a bit, even though I paid €132. Burro Ville - Rating: 0 Airbnb - Rating: 0

Unfortunately, the experience wasn't good. Brown running water. We were there for two days and couldn't shower, brush our teeth, cook, or do the dishes. The response was, 'The maintenance team will check it,' which we never saw, nor did they fix it while we were there. It doesn't seem like a one-time problem, because there are reviews from years ago. We also don't know if the water is drinkable or not, because they don't specify it. The dishwasher had a sign saying it wasn't working. I've never seen a sign like this on an appliance in an apartment that costs this much. Perhaps it was also due to the water problem. On the other hand, you can clearly hear the apartments next door. Children crying, and normal conversations. It's suspicious that they include earplugs in the welcome kit... And their ad specifies that the rooms are soundproof... The sofa bed, a very uncomfortable jumble of springs. And finally, the apartment had a few burned-out light bulbs. I've attached photos.

Very peaceful place surrounded by donkeys. The only thing that could be improved is the sofa bed, which is a tangled mess of wires that poke you everywhere.

If you’re a family with kids - perfect place! If you’re alone or a couple - prepare to hear children playing outside all the time.

Please pay more attention to the donkey next to the village. It's so sad to see him alone all day, neglected and with his hair matted. He looks depressed and sad, desperate seeing all the other donkeys together in front and him alone in the stable. 😭😭😞 The one across the way, the one who's alone, won't stop crying.

Charming apartment, nice pool, a couple of miles to a supermarket or restaurant. However the donkey advert is misleading. Don't expect donkey visits, they are elsewhere
