Uma Casa à Beira Sol

We had a very nice stay at Uma Casa à Beira Sol. The place is beautiful and very peaceful, perfect to relax. The location is great, close to the center but still quiet. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the whole house has a very nice atmosphere. The breakfast was really good and we enjoyed it every morning.

We loved this small, charming perfectly located hotel in Lagos, Algarve. The 2 women we spoke with at reception, one named Summer, were wondefully helpful and were English speakers. Breakfasts were spectacularly good and beautifully served. The hotel gardens are a true botanical garden. If there is a very tiny negative and for us it was, the wifi is a bit "spotty" but should not be a reason to avoid this wonderful hotel. (And note the wifi might be better in some rooms than others.) Don't forget to have a meal at the nearby Lucas Rooftop restaurant, a dining experience.

The immediate surroundings may not be ideal, but as soon as you arrive at the small complex, you've arrived. Very cozy, homey, and a haven of peace. The service is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. We had room 9 and were able to have breakfast right outside our room every morning. The cozy seating area in front of the room was covered and felt like a second room. Simply fantastic. Various beaches are within walking distance, which is also great!

Incredible little boutique hideaway. Unique rooms, lovely grounds, fantastic breakfast and very helpful staff. Each unit has its own outdoor patio or living space where your breakfast can be served. 20- 25 min walk to Centro.

We stayed for a week in Sept. 2025. It's basically a loose complex of varied and very clean Mediterranean style rooms and small garden apartments. The grounds are very beautiful and shady. Staff are very approachable and helpful. Location is about halfway between downtown Lagos and the nearby beaches. So you can stroll to downtown without having to stay in crowded busy area.

For me, this is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations, with few apartments and a stunning setting. The rooms are furnished in a natural style, breakfast is served in the garden, and there's a small pool. The accommodation is located near the town center and within walking distance of the beach.

A lovingly and personally run hotel with a breathtaking garden and a wonderfully delicious breakfast directly on the room's own terrace. A beautiful small pool area completes this wonderfully enchanted and branched garden.

Highly recommended! Staff was amazing, kind and super helpful. It was a bless to have this magical and quiet place close to the busy Lagos. The room was very lovely, breakfast included, very green environment & the pool is such a relaxing place as well. We would like to go back one day!

Simply a fantastic hotel, with beautiful, natural rooms, bright and clean. The service was there every day and always friendly. Breakfast was superb! A huge compliment to the gardener! I've never seen a garden designed with so much love and attention to detail. There were little sanctuaries everywhere, and the pool was fantastic.

We stayed in the Zawiya suite, the room was absolutely stunning with amazing views! Breakfast is a must too!
