About this place Hotel Kaliningrad

Hotel Kaliningrad is positioned as an LGBTQ+-friendly hotel option in Kaliningrad, Russia's westernmost major city. Located on Leninsky Avenue in the city centre, it provides accommodation for LGBTQ+-friendly and LGBTQ+ travellers visiting this historic Baltic region destination. As a LGBTQ+-friendly hotel, this venue caters specifically to LGBTQ+ guests seeking a welcoming place to stay. Kaliningrad itself is an interesting destination with Soviet-era architecture, museums, and cultural attractions, though it's worth noting that Russia's legal and social environment regarding LGBTQ+ rights differs significantly from many Western countries. Travellers should research current conditions and exercise appropriate discretion when visiting. The hotel's location on a central avenue makes it convenient for exploring the city's main areas. For practical details about room types, amenities, pricing, and specific facilities, visitors are encouraged to check the hotel's website or contact them directly. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this property offers LGBTQ+-conscious hospitality in a city that sees fewer dedicated gay-friendly accommodations than major Western tourism hubs.

They don't allow people to go to the parking lot to pick up guests from the hotel.

The price doesn't match the quality at all. The rooms are tiny. The air conditioner is floor-standing, taking up the already tiny amount of space. The pillows are huge but very soft.

The standard room overlooks the courtyard. It's clean, with a full set of towels and toiletries. Everything is tidied and cleaned daily, and bottled water is provided daily. Breakfasts are delicious but repetitive. It's a great place for walks; everything is within walking distance, and there's a bus stop nearby for trips to Yantarny and Svetlogorsk.

Conveniently located, close to the city center, shops, and attractions. The room is cleaned daily and is spotless. The room has a floor-standing air conditioner that cools the room quickly. The breakfasts were a pleasant surprise! Very tasty, with a wide selection.
