Lift broken need to use stairs. Limited parking controlled by others. No air conditioning. Pretty medium in general, can tell its an old hotel, nothing bad. Staff have been nice, they are the best part tbf.

Have stayed here many times, at least once a month. Always given the same connecting rooms as requested. Staff are always very helpful, especially duty manager, stuart? Goes above and beyond to sort any requests or problems out. Very central and handy for visits to the theatre, music hall and train station. Yes, the noise at the front can be annoying, but you're in the centre of town, it's to be expected. Already booked in for various dates for the rest of the year

Slightly dated but very comfortable, friendly staff, and charming stule/ambience.

Good location. Staff friendly helpful and attentive. Room okay. Clean and functional. Buffet breakfast at additional cost of 12.pp per head. Enough choices of hot food but continental a bit of a poor show. Okay for a couple of nights.
