01/05/2026 A pleasant stay in a residential area of Aberdeen, convenient as a stopover on the way to the Highlands or Speyside. Ample parking, elegant and well-maintained surroundings, and large, clean rooms. The breakfast was truly excellent, with a small buffet of tasty items (especially the croissants) and the option of ordering a real Scottish breakfast from the menu (bacon, beans, sausages, black pudding, etc.). The restaurant was also very good, offering excellent value for money. We had excellent noodles with duck (the noodles were a bit overcooked, but the duck was excellent in both quantity and flavor). The other dishes we tried were also good (pork cheek, burger, local beef ribeye). I would gladly return!!
The bed was really hard... other than that it was awesome
Felt very local and Scottish, glad I walked here to have dinner instead of the burgers at the more modern international style conference hotell.
The room was spacious, but the ventilation was very loud. Unfortunately, there was no hairdryer. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the bar was cozy. Dinner was excellent, but breakfast was bland and boring. All in all, though, it's recommendable if you're just passing through.
The rooms were mediocre, and unfortunately, the location is a bit out of the way. It’s likely better suited for people in transit to or from the airport. On the plus side, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the hotel bar and lounge area were cozy and stylish. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good, while breakfast was decent.
