Queer Slovakia (Tepláreň parties)

Queer Slovakia is the team behind Tepláreň, the queer bar on Zámocká street outside which a gunman killed Juraj Vankulič and Matúš Horváth in October 2022, an attack prosecuted as terrorism. The bar closed in November 2023. Tepláreň now continues as a party roughly every two months at Batelier club in Bratislava (and at Tabačka in Košice). Queer Slovakia also runs other regular nights listed by the city's LGBTI guide, including Homomat, Tutti Frutti and Kiki, plus Queer Beer every other Wednesday at changing venues. There is no permanent bar to visit, so check queerslovakia.sk or Instagram for dates and venues.
