Hotel Bonaparte

I'm not one of those people who complain and look for faults, quite the opposite. Unfortunately, I had to leave the hotel and quickly find another hotel. When I got to my room, I heard loud scratching, I thought there were mice in the plasterboard, but in the end I found out that the sounds were coming from the switched off air conditioning. I immediately went to the reception, but they were already on their way home. They told me that they didn't have any other rooms available and that they couldn't help me, that I should try to solve it myself. I went back to my room, tried turning the air conditioning off, on, or even flipping the room's circuit breakers (I would flip them at night to get some sleep), but nothing. So I quickly went to the reception and said that it couldn't be done like this and that I needed sleep. They went with me, they heard the noise, but they couldn't help me. The hotel supposedly doesn't have a maintenance man. They refused to give me the number of the hotel owner, saying that the owner didn't want it (I'm probably not the first person to ask). In the end, they concluded that either it broke right when I arrived or other guests don't have a problem with noise while sleeping. I took my things and left without paying. I recommend that the owner get a maintenance man and put everything together. Looking at the other reviews, the owner wouldn't stop...

It's average. Ants in the room and the receptionist wasn't surprised? Separate beds for couples?

Who even thought this was a 4-star hotel?! 0 stars at best!!! Dirt, stench, mold. The floors absolutely need carpet replacement. The bedding is dirty. Staff is absent from reception from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM. There's one bathrobe in the double room and no hairdryer. Breakfast is very meager and not very tasty. The minibar is empty. There's no coffee in the room.

This is not a 4-star hotel; maybe it was back in the '90s, but definitely not now. The girls at the reception don't speak English. We arrived with two big suitcases, and there was no lift (it doesn't exist), so we had to lift our luggage on the stairs. The rooms are dirty, with no clue as to when they were last renovated... stains everywhere: on the carpet, on the walls... mold in the bathroom, and the hanger in the bathroom was broken. The wardrobe was broken too. The TV was not working. Breakfast is just a box with ham, cheese, half egg and a few slices of tomato and cucumber. Very disappointed...

I recommend coffee

I do not recommend, the room is dirty and dusty. Stains on the carpet, mold in the bathroom.

The hotel seems to be getting ready for renovations. The cabinets are falling apart, the doorknobs are falling off. The rooms reek of cigarettes. Dirty. The carpets are light-colored and stained. There are cans lying outside the window. The restaurant closes at 6 p.m. There's a continuous line on the street, and turning is prohibited, so access is only from Kosice.

A complete disaster, the bar and restaurant were not working because the hotel manager decided so. The room was completely neglected and there was no one at the reception even though they wrote in the email that self-catering is from 8pm and we arrived at 2pm. I definitely do not recommend visiting!
