Circuit Festival Barcelona
About This Event
Circuit Festival is Matinée Group's nine-day gay party festival in Barcelona every August. It started in the city in 2008 and is a commercial, ticketed event, not a Pride; Barcelona's Pride march is a separate free event earlier in the summer. If you want big-room tribal and progressive house, shirtless crowds and a week of sleeping until 2pm, this is one of Europe's biggest gay summer events. If not, early August is a good week to be anywhere else in Barcelona.
It works on passes and single tickets. The big nights run at Fira Gran Via in L'Hospitalet, with other parties at Razzmatazz, Input, Safari Disco Club, Luz de Gas and SeaSea Club. Water Park Day at Illa Fantasia, outside the city, is the daytime set piece. Buy passes early and book accommodation in Eixample, where the gay bars are; August prices are high. The Fira venue is out of the centre, so plan how you're getting home before you go in.
Barcelona's public broadcaster Betevé reported that organizers expected about 60,000 people from more than 80 countries at the 2026 edition, around 70% of them from outside Spain, with the US, France, Australia and the UK sending the most. That is a forecast from the organizer, not a ticket count.
The 17th edition ran 1 to 9 August 2026, with about 50 DJs including Matinée residents Tom Stephan, David Tort and Pagano. It added Pervert XXL on 6 August, a multi-venue night under Matinée's new Glory brand, and Water Park Day on 4 August with Danish producer Morten. The 2027 dates hadn't been officially announced when we checked; some resellers list 7 to 15 August 2027, but that does not appear on the organizer's site yet. The pattern is the first half of August.
