Quick dinner in this popular and busy wine bar / restaurant Nice choice of wines by the glass , including local wines Decent food ..octopus, steak , avocado toast Nicely prepared but nothing amazing IMO Super charming staff Would I go back ? Probably Recommended

Squid with onions, mi-cuit, tempura mushrooms with truffle sauce, Russian salad, and three entrecôte steaks, for 4 people, with 2 bottles of Ostatu red wine, and four coffees, €223. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent.

incredibly friendly host, a lot of knowledge about the food and the wine. I did drunk a white wine of 12 years old which was an amazing experience. one of the highlights of our trip.

Sorry only 2 photos of the anchovies and wine but we also the Octopus and the squid really great tasting food! Not to mention the Basque cheese cake!! It was so refreshing to go into a restaurant especially in the summer in Spain and get this quality food! It’s right across the river from the Guggenheim. Make a reservation!!

Good God. What a find! Eating in Bilbao is mostly picking from a bunch of wonderful options, so it would take quite a bit to rise above and this most certainly does. Octopus to die for. Red Tuna on Brioche that was excellent, a small anchovy on sweetbread appetizer that completely turned expectations on their head and they are known for the wine! The wine selections were second nature and exceptional. Obviously focused on Spanish wines, you’d be hard pressed to have a better wine experience in Bilbao, let alone a majority of Spain. An absolute delight

Amazing wine tasting really informative, friendly all the wines were delicious and the cheeses and meets the pear were also very good amazing quality highly recommend
