HOSTEL SEA & DREAMS CALPE

A good option if you're in the oldest part of Calpe. The beach is a 15-minute walk away, and it's very good value for money. I'm giving it fewer stars for "service," not because we were treated badly—we were very well treated, and the receptionist was very friendly—but because they didn't offer breakfast options, for example, even though they have a dining room. Everything else was quite good. It would be nice if the walls were better insulated, as we could hear the elevator and the people next to us talking, coughing, etc., but it's great for visiting Calpe on a budget.

I really liked it, but they provide a coffee machine with coffee capsules, and I would add water for the coffee machine and sugar. Thank you.

Good accommodation but lacks daycare service

The location is very central, 10 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from Mercadona supermarket, right in the old town. The hostel's common areas were very well-maintained and attractive. The staff, including the owner, seemed very friendly. My surprise came when I entered the room; the bathroom was unusable for showering. The bed had traces of blood, urine, and hair. There was a hair tie on the lamp that wasn't mine, and the dust was everywhere. Photos are attached! It's acceptable for one night, but they need to improve the cleaning service; then it would be a good hostel. I was guided by the positive reviews, and honestly, I left disappointed with the cleanliness.

Perfect

Excellent location. Comfortable bed and a sufficiently spacious room. Nice headboards, small sink. Medium-sized shower and weak water pressure. Good service, it smelled of fish which we liked, nice pictures, possibility of another bed which was secured with a numbered lock, the room overlooked a shared courtyard, low security Wi-Fi, difficult accessibility for people with disabilities, nice blue colors with nautical motifs, it's in the old town, our visit coincided with the market and various events

Tiny room overlooking Calle Mayor, perfect location in the heart of the old town. Bathroom with shower and hairdryer, coffee maker in the room. Cleanliness was adequate, but the mattress needs replacing; you sink right in. 🙆🏻‍♀️

We stayed here five years ago, and since then, the maintenance has left much to be desired. In the bathroom, the shower cord can't be hung up; only part of the fixture is on the wall. The toiletries are scarce, with only two small bottles of shampoo. There were two of us, and we only had one hand towel, and the extra roll of toilet paper was placed on top of the toilet brush holder. It's true that the room and all the other areas were very clean, and the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town. It was a bittersweet experience, as our previous stay had been exceptional in every way.
