It's always a pleasure to go on Fridays.

It's not your typical "top-tier" Ibiza spot that comes to mind when you think of the island, but that's precisely its charm. It's the perfect place to disconnect, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy time with the family. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, thanks in large part to the hostel staff, who inspire confidence and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Everything was clean, the food was good, and the service was excellent. The kids had a fantastic time, and that means everything to us. Plus, the breakfast was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

This hostel is 100% recommended for cyclists: they let me store my bike in a safe place, the food is excellent, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. Ideal for resting after a bike ride.

It's really cool and fun, perfect for spending the holidays. Great atmosphere and perfect for going to the beach every day.

This was a really nice hotel. They have a lovely garden and pool nearby for relaxing on comfy daybeds. A short walk to a lovely beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They were very accommodating and we were able to change rooms easily from a twin to a double.

A little gem in a wonderfully quiet part of Ibiza. We thought the location of this accommodation was fantastic; right below the little hotel, you find the stairs to the beach. And what a lovely beach! The breakfast is also top-notch. Plenty of choice: fresh fruit, juice, cheese, ham, sweet rolls, etcetera. The staff is super friendly. We arrived later than expected due to a flight delay. It did help that I speak a little Spanish, because the owner's son, who checked us in, really only spoke a tiny bit of English. That is why I understood very little of his welcome speech. In my beginner Spanish, I thought I had understood what he said about the pool, but apparently not, haha. Because the pool is closer to 800 meters from the hotel instead of 400 meters, and I was not told that I needed a key for the door to the pool. But that following evening (once we were up to speed on the details), we drove to the pool in our rental car: wow. First, say hello to the two horses, then walk on to a little paradise; a beautiful swimming pool with a fantastic view. So actually not a disappointment, but more of a: note, it is a bit of a walk. We started our holiday at this little hotel, deliberately a bit laid back and 'simple'. Because we were going to a super deluxe experience afterwards. Hostal Cala Boix was exactly what we had expected. There are also a few nice restaurants nearby, such as Pou d'es LLeo and Bar Anita. I therefore don't understand the 1-star reviews at all. Why are you complaining as if you expect a 5-star hotel, when you booked a charming stay run by a family and their very nice South American employees? A bit strange. Like booking Ryanair and expecting Emirates service. As far as I'm concerned: highly recommended!

as a top hostel

The hotel is great, but unfortunately, there's a bitter aftertaste. My money was gladly accepted, however, I received no invoice, which upset me greatly. Even after several inquiries, the owner didn't respond. It's a real shame, as it made my experience very expensive!

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Ibiza, this hotel won't disappoint, because forgetting this stay is simply impossible. The photos promise a hotel with a pool, but what they don't tell you is that the pool is 1 km away, ideal for a cardio workout before taking a dip—by road, of course. Once you arrive, you discover that the pool is accompanied by a stable with horses, so you can enjoy a pleasant aroma of manure while you relax. Very rustic 🌿. The pool, more than a pool, looks like an experimental green pond, as most of the tiles are missing and hygiene is practically nonexistent. The Balinese beds are so dirty that you have to wonder whether to sit down… or get vaccinated first. That said, it's not all bad: there's a beach bar in the center with a mini-fridge of free bottled water. An oasis in the middle of the chaos. The rooms, surprisingly, are quiet (probably because there weren't many people who survived there). They're not as spacious as advertised, and the bathroom is so small that showering is a contortionist's exercise, but at least they were clean, which is appreciated considering the rest of the hotel. The website advertises free bicycles. Spoiler alert: they were vintage bikes, rusty, with flat tires, and some were even buried in the ground, as if they were part of the natural landscape. A wonderful archaeological experience. Breakfast deserves a special mention: little variety, bottled juices, and not a trace of fresh juice. But the real star of the buffet is the colony of cats, which roam freely throughout the facilities and even on top of the food, under the watchful eyes of the staff, who seem to consider this perfectly normal. We opted for yogurt from the fridge for breakfast, for basic survival. We let them know our flight was late and asked if they could leave us something for dinner. A sandwich? A roll? Nothing. We arrived at midnight, and from then until the next day, it was forced intermittent fasting. Ibiza premium experience. The only truly good thing is that the hotel is right next to the beach. Everything else is a masterpiece of deceptive advertising. They sell an idyllic resort, but what you find is a cross between an abandoned campsite, a farm, and a social experiment. An experience I'll never forget, not because it was good… but because it was so surreal it deserves to be told.

The location is excellent, near a quiet beach. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. Thanks again to the team for this fantastic stay; I highly recommend it.

Prices have skyrocketed and quality has declined. The welcome remains pleasant.
