El Confital (Cruising)

El Confital sits at the northern tip of La Isleta, past the end of the Las Canteras promenade. Beyond the surfers and the naturist stretch (a marked "Zona Recomendada Naturista"), the viewpoint plaza and rocky coves at the entrance are a long-standing gay evening cruising spot for local men. Activity picks up after sunset and on weekends. It is public open coast: keep to visible areas, respect other beachgoers, and note there is little lighting after dark.
