Hotel Monarque Fuengirola Park

We stayed for 6 days and it was spectacular. The hotel was very clean and the food service was good, but what will make us return next year is the amazing service from the staff. The waiters who served us were wonderful, the restaurant maître d' and the dining room staff were very friendly and attentive, and what can we say about the entertainment team, Rocío and Tomaso? They were fantastic, truly wonderful people. Rocío fell in love with our son Aday, but we and Aday also fell in love with her. She made us feel right at home and was very friendly. We can't wait to return. A big hug to everyone and thank you so much for everything. The proximity to the beach is fantastic, very close. The only thing I would change about the hotel would be the pillows, which were very uncomfortable, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Another year, and as always, absolutely fantastic! Excellent location, a swimming pool and an indoor pool with a spa for relaxing. You can have a drink in peace on one of their sun loungers—there are always plenty. What can I say about the customer service from all the staff? The food surprises me more every year; you can't say enough good things about it. Bravo! A variety every day, and the cuisine is superb. A big thank you to all the staff, especially José (the maître d'), Alonso, Carlos, and my girls, Rosa and Beatriz. The reception staff is just as delightful as ever. A big hug to my Lauras! I will definitely be back, as I do every year!

We were going to spend a week and ended up staying for two. The facilities, proximity to the beach, the train, the bus, the taxis, etc., make it one of the best hotels in Fuengirola. If we add to that the food is good, the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional, and the weather was very helpful, then it's already close to excellence. We have special memories of the dining room staff, led by Jose, César, and Laura, Omar, Alonso, Carlos, Javier at the Oasis, Felipe at the bar, Lobato and David with the rest of the reception staff, Yenni from cleaning, Pedro the lifeguard, and María del Mar cheering us on. (We're sorry we don't remember all the names.) This photo serves as a warm reminder to all the staff and a promise that we will return at the slightest opportunity. WE HAD A GREAT TIME! It's obvious. A wonderful hotel! The food was delicious and the staff were always incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service to guests. A huge thank you to the entertainment team, the waiters, management, and everyone else for making our stay truly wonderful. We'll be back next year!

This is not a 4-star hotel! You've overcharged. I've stayed in much better 3-star hotels! The rooms, especially the bathroom, desperately need a major renovation to be considered a 4-star hotel. The buffet was one of the worst I've ever had, and the entertainment was so bad that columns in the bar made it impossible to see the show properly. The center of Fuengirola is too far to walk to. This is the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in and the most disappointing. I certainly wouldn't return or recommend it to anyone. If you're looking for a real 4-star hotel, this isn't the place for you!

Amazing hotel i loved the breakfast and dinner the food was lovely the rooms were nice too! i enjoyed the hotel swimming pool it was big and clear. this hotel is very close to the beach probably a 3 min walk!

A very clean hotel, although some of the furnishings are a bit old and worn. It's worth asking yourself: is it more important to stay in a new hotel with poor housekeeping or in a more established hotel with very well-cleaned and well-maintained rooms? This hotel was the best value and quality option when I browsed offers on Booking.com and TripAdvisor in this area of ​​the Costa del Sol. The building's layout allows me to believe that all rooms on the higher floors have the same side sea view. The rooms are standard size. Food-wise, many dishes are repetitive, especially at breakfast, but lunch and dinner are varied, and I think everyone will find something to their liking. Instead of eating out, I recommend the all-inclusive hotel option – for those who enjoy trying many dishes and enjoying a beer or coffee with a pastry or ice cream throughout the day. I don't recommend all-inclusive packages and don't recommend them to anyone who loads up plates of food and then leaves half of it behind. It's a truly unpleasant sight to see a waiter having to throw everything away because they have to clean up after a customer who doesn't respect someone else's work (including the chef's) because, after all, they paid for all-inclusive and can do anything, but they don't have to. However, this is a perennial problem for many guests around the world. I didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. The hotel offers a spa, services like a hairdresser, massage chairs, and billiards for a fee, and I think the jacuzzi is too. There's a souvenir shop selling magnets (these are cheaper than on the beach promenade). Parking is free and spacious, although there were already a lot of cars at the end of May – it came in handy when renting a car (I immediately recommend the Jaris rental company in Fuengirola, a 20-minute walk from the hotel or a 2-minute drive from the Los Boliches stop on the C1 cable car across the street. Minimal paperwork, no deposit, and the rental price is the same as for a scooter). If you like taxis, I've always seen one outside the hotel. Walking from the hotel to the beach takes 2-3 minutes from the pool, just cross the street (safe crossing with traffic lights). From the airport to the hotel, the cable car takes about 30 minutes – a very convenient option. You don't need to buy a ticket at the ticket machines; you just use the same payment card at the entrance gates and on the free-standing reader after exiting the cable car. I'm not sure if the same card can be used for two or more passengers – my wife and I used separate debit cards. The cost was €2.70 per person in 2026. It's a short walk from the Torreblanca bus stop to the hotel, and it's a 3-5-minute walk from the airport terminal to the cable car itself. My impressions of my stay remain very positive; if I had to choose a hotel again, I would choose the same one.
