A very nice hotel in the city center. However, there are no parking options in the immediate vicinity. We also recommend the parking garage in the city center (€10 for 24 hours). Regardless of which level you park on, you take the elevator all the way to the top (Level 10) and are right in the heart of the city. From there, it's a good 5-minute walk to the hotel. The remaining difference in elevation can be overcome with another elevator, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Very thoughtful design. The hotel is charmingly decorated and has very friendly staff. You select your breakfast the day before or the evening before. It is then freshly prepared at your chosen time the next day and is very tasty. If you have a room facing the street, you should expect some noise from the restaurant across the street the following morning. The ringing of the church bells shouldn't bother you either. We highly recommend this hotel 😊.

Lovely hotel, charming and welcoming staff, perfect service, good breakfast. Note that if you have a room facing the street, it is quite noisy, as there is no double glazing.

We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel located in the center of Mijas. Jon made us very welcome on arrival and the staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable. The food was delicious and drinks reasonably priced, especially the cocktails! I highly recommend this gem and we look forward to returning. Thank you to all staff for a really lovely time.

A charming hotel with impeccable service. Thoughtful details make your stay much more comfortable, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the breakfast offers a variety of options, with the option to add more if you wish. All the staff are delightful and always ready to help with anything you need. If I were to return to Mijas, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hotel Opuntia again.

I had an excellent stay; the welcome was warm, the rooms spacious and very clean. Breakfast is undoubtedly the hotel's best feature, offering a variety of styles to suit everyone's tastes.
