What a lovely staff and atmosphere 🥰

Quirky bar, first time we came on saturday night we were turned away because "we had technical difficulties" with no explanation given and full bar, and the second time we sat for a quick drink on a hot midday to cool in shade.

We went into the bar because the atmosphere looked good, but the food was the worst I've ever had in all of Spain. Horrible. The menu was written on a single chalkboard that was passed around from table to table, which meant you had to wait for the next table to finish ordering before you could even see the food options. The food came out incredibly slowly and in a disorganized fashion. By the time the last dish arrived, the first two people to receive their food had already finished eating. Response to Bar Flexas's comment: Just because a dish is designed to be shared doesn't excuse the dish's HORRID TASTE. Besides that, the dish contained shrimp shells. I mean, EMPTY shrimp.

What an atmosphere! The place, the people, and even the owner who was there that day (apparently that's not the norm). The food... we ordered the dim sum and they were amazing!

Bar Flexas is one of Palma's most distinctive bars, located right in the heart of the old town. It's not fancy or modern, but it is unique, with an engaging atmosphere that makes it a highly recommended stop in the city center.

At Flexas, you can truly enjoy Mallorcan tapas just like homemade. The Pa amb oli with sobrasada and camaiot (two Mallorcan sausages) is delicious. And if you have the chance to go on a weekend, try the banderillas de higado pobleras, a local specialty from Sa Pobla, which are fantastic with vermouth. They also make frito de carro negra, a less common dish, and the classic Mallorcan dish Tumbet.
