About this place Nude Beach of Almarda

This nude beach, just outside Sagunto and a short drive from Valencia, is where naturists and LGBTQ+ people go when they want to ditch their clothes by the sea.

There's about 800 meters of fine golden sand, enough room to spread out and sunbathe. It sits between some rough cliffs, giving it a natural feel, miles from the crowded beaches closer to the city.

It's also a known cruising spot, drawing people who want to meet others in a relaxed, open setting. No clothes, no fuss, just a body-positive vibe where you can be yourself. If you're an LGBTQ+ traveler on the Spanish coast, this place is worth a stop for its mix of natural beauty and an accepting crowd.

Just remember it's a natural beach, so don't expect much in the way of amenities. But it’s an easy day trip from Valencia, or a good stop if you’re exploring the coast. It’s definitely a different kind of beach experience than you’ll find elsewhere around here.

A very quiet beach with coarse sand and small pebbles; it's best to wear shoes. Around midday you might see a few onlookers, but overall it's good and worth it. There's a significant drop to the water's edge, but it's easy to manage.

Despite the year-round ban on dogs, there are dogs everywhere. Running loose, bathing in the water, their owners stimulating them with toys.

Beach still closed, municipal workers still laying sand onto beach.

The beach looks nothing like the one in the photos. Construction has begun on some large pipelines stretching several kilometers. The beach is covered with mounds of sand, and numerous excavators are working on it. There's no real opportunity for sunbathing.

Currently unreachable due to extensive damage caused by the storms!

The beach itself is very quiet, the water depth is convenient (not for children), the color of the water is enchanting, however, two gentlemen of middle age and older, one kneeling in front of the other, somewhat spoiled the positive impression of this place.
