About this place Garden of Turia

Jardines del Turia is Valencia’s main cruising spot for gay men, a long, skinny park that runs nine kilometers through the city where the Turia River used to be.

The park is a local landmark, a green ribbon that cuts the city in half. It’s big enough that you can find all sorts of corners, and it pulls in local men and visitors looking to hook up or just check out Valencia’s queer scene.

Things really pick up at night. The park’s size means there are plenty of out-of-the-way spots, so you can pick how public you want to be. Like a lot of cruising areas in Europe, the vibe changes depending on when you go. Best to be discreet and pay attention to what’s happening around you.

This is a public park, so all the usual rules and laws apply. You can get into the park system easily from Plaça d'Amèrica. Whether you’re just out for a walk or looking to meet someone, Jardines del Turia is where a lot of the city's gay community gathers. Be smart, stay safe, and be respectful of everyone else in the park.
