When you arrive at the hotel, you may first get the impression that the facility is primarily aimed at athletes, with all the sports halls and signs from RF on the way down. But it's just as easy to stay there even if you don't participate in any sports activities. We had our 2.5 year old grandson with us, and he thought it was fun to run around because there are large areas both indoors and outdoors near the water line. The hotel and facility are beautifully nestled between the bay and the forest. In the forest there are walking and running trails of various lengths, which provides great opportunities for both exercise and relaxation. An extra plus is that the parking is free and there were plenty of spaces.

Poor customer service - no leeway for earlier check in (even when there is no one else at the property), no explanation of amenities (including meal options), and some of the facilities were not being maintained by staff (trash in the landscaping, overflowing bins, smelly drains). The property is massive and has really great sports facilities but they don’t highlight that for tourists. It seems the main clientele are large sports camps for kids. Overall, the rooms are excellent for the cost and come equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. In room sauna was a nice touch. The buffet dinner is quite pricey and has limited options for those with dietary restrictions.

The facilities and location are great, but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. They serve pork 5 days out of 7, and when you ask for a beef alternative you get a curt answer that there is fish, without considering that not everyone likes fish. They should offer other meat options, especially when they serve pork so often.
