Operakällaren is a truly fantastic place with amazing food, superb service, and a wonderful atmosphere. The meatballs are divine and highly recommended, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine! The clientele is primarily Swedish, not tourists.

Why not 5 stars? The place is beautiful, definitely one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world. Since it is such an elegant place and not a pizza joint, there are some basic things that the very friendly staff should remember: You always serve from the left of the customer. You always take away from the customer's right. You never pass your arm in front of the customer. There is no point in dressing the waiters in a black suit and tie if there are other waiters from the bar walking through the room dressed as gardeners, with sneakers and unbuttoned khaki shirts. It is definitely worth the experience, however.

All the food tasted like nothing but salt. The meat smelled fishy. It was too salty, tasteless, and only worth the price. Is this really a Michelin-starred restaurant? It was the worst dinner I've ever had.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere, ambiance, and service were absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately, the food was simply too salty. Every single dish was heavily seasoned, to the point where I couldn’t finish any of them. I’ve reviewed many restaurants over the years, and I rarely leave negative comments, but the food here was genuinely far too salty for my taste. If you enjoy bold, heavily seasoned flavors, you might actually like it😬

What a fantastic experience. The environment is absolutely incredible with its beautiful wooden panels and the atmospheric lighting that really adds a golden touch to the evening. Every dish we were served was like a small work of art on the plate. I was particularly captivated by the elegant dessert that was shaped like a flower and topped with small gold leaves. It was an incredible combination of craftsmanship and flavors that really impressed us. We enjoyed every minute in this unique venue at Karl XII:s torg. Everything felt well thought out and personal. We will definitely be back.

Smelled like pee in the hall and the waitress said my hair was ugly because I dyed it blue. They're not LGBTQ+ friendly either
