Absolutely avoid this place! The value for money is unacceptable. Paying 230 CHF for a 15 m² single room (including the bathroom, which I measured myself) is already excessively expensive. But the experience was a disaster from beginning to end. First, I had to use a flashlight to find my room's entrance, as the hallway lighting was completely broken. Then, the air conditioning wasn't working, and the windows were locked "for safety reasons." The customer service was appalling. The reception staff came to assess the problem, only to then launch into a string of lame excuses and lies. I was first told it was too hot outside, then that air conditioning was prohibited in Switzerland. Unfortunately for me, I live here! The employee then dug himself in deeper by claiming it was illegal to set the air conditioning to 18°C. In short, a complete mess and a total lack of professionalism. My request to change rooms was refused due to lack of availability. As a result, I had to sleep in 28°C heat in the room. This establishment is dishonest and overpriced; avoid it.

I stayed two nights at this hotel and was very satisfied. The value for money is excellent. Everything is perfectly clean. The location is superb, right next to the central train station and the city's historic center. I want to highlight the excellent service I received from the hotel staff; everyone was very friendly, but especially the night porter. I accidentally broke a toe, and he looked after me with empathy while I waited for the person who was going to take me to the hospital. I didn't give the rooms the highest rating because they can be a bit small. But mine was more than adequate for one person.

And the Oscar for friendliest staff goes to Anuk, Tamara, and the owner—so incredibly warm and kind—thank you! The hotel is perfectly located, right next to the train station, and the city center is easily reachable on foot. The room was just right for one night, as was the breakfast. I can highly recommend it.
