Very centrally located hotel, not modern but equipped with every comfort, including excellent Wi-Fi. Perfect shower. The elevator service and breakfast could be improved. The price is average for Bern.

The Hotel National in Bern is a true gem that impresses in many ways. The **location** is simply superb. Situated right in the heart of Bern, the hotel offers perfect access to the city's main attractions. You can easily explore the beautiful old town on foot, making your stay even more enjoyable. The **hosts** deserve special mention. The team is incredibly friendly and helpful, instantly creating a welcoming atmosphere. You feel like a valued guest, not just a room number. The **family atmosphere** of the hotel also contributes to a special experience. There's a warm, cozy ambiance that invites you to linger. You can tell that great importance is placed on personal relationships and excellent service. The **gastronomic cuisine** is another highlight of the hotel. The dishes are delicious and prepared with great care and dedication. The selection is diverse and offers something for every taste. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel National in Bern. Whether for a short city break or a longer stay – here you'll find everything your heart desires. A place where you'll love to linger and feel completely at ease!

Had a nice stay here. Good value for money. The receptionist (Diana might be her name?) was friendly and competent. You can see the hotel tries to retain the old charm of the building. The location is great, only a short walk from the main train station and easy to walk/take the trams to the attractions. The breakfast was alright, although the restaurant staff could be nicer. Dog friendly! 🐶
