Bern Pride 2027

Bern Pride is Switzerland's political Pride. It's an annual demonstration in the federal capital, its route passing the Federal Parliament building (Bundeshaus). That's the point: a visible statement about LGBTQ+ presence in the city where Switzerland's laws are made.

The event pulls people from the Bern region and German-speaking Switzerland. It's a mix of parade, speeches, live performances, and parties at Café Kairo, Exit Bar, and PINK.

Bern makes sense for this. Pink Cross, Switzerland's national gay organization, has its headquarters here. The advocacy groups behind the 2021 marriage equality referendum and the 2020 anti-discrimination protections are based in, or connected to, the capital. It's smaller than Zurich Pride, but it's more focused.
