It's a shame it's no longer a hotel, but it's been beautifully renovated and the owner is friendly.

Very pleasantly renovated, exuding peace and tranquility. It can be perceived as noisy due to its proximity to traditional buildings. However, this is part of the experience and should be approached with respect and humility. Breakfast had exactly what was needed. Parking is available around the house, and it's a pleasant walk from the village and center. We would love to come back.

Sarnen train station is just a 10-minute walk away, making it easy and quick to travel long distances to places like Lugano and Zermatt. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment, suitable for retreat. The interior is simple and the lighting is soft, making it easy to relax quickly. The two ladies on the service team were friendly and made me feel at home. I eagerly looked forward to breakfast time every day, because the breakfast was delicious and generous in portions, giving you plenty of motivation for your daily itinerary. I especially love the hot and fluffy croissants and the soft-boiled eggs. On the day of check-out, because I had to leave the hotel very early, I couldn't have breakfast at the normal time, and the host specially prepared a lunch box, which was very thoughtful. I stayed here for six nights and it was quite pleasant and comfortable, I highly recommend this hostel. In addition, if the lighting of the desk can be improved (such as adding white light lamps for reading), it will be more convenient for guests.
