Kweer

Kweer is a welcoming LGBTQ+ café-bar in the heart of Zürich's Niederdorf old town, on Spitalgasse. It opened in 2022 on the site of the legendary Barfüsser — long billed as one of the oldest gay bars in Europe (from 1956) — reviving the address as a queer meeting place. Today it's an easygoing spot for coffee by day and drinks by night, drawing a friendly, mixed LGBTQ+ crowd of locals and visitors. Its central location, a few minutes on foot from the Hauptbahnhof, makes it a natural starting point for a night out in the old-town gay scene.
