Asexual Visibility Day
About the event
Asexual Visibility Day is celebrated on April 6th. It was launched in 2010 by David Jay, the founder of the Asexual Visibility & Education Network (AVEN). The goal of Asexual Visibility Day is to create awareness for the entire asexual spectrum and to celebrate it. The focus is on education and solidarity, especially regarding what it means to be asexual, the differences between asexuality and aromanticism, and strengthening the visibility of asexual people in society.
