CVK Taksim Hotel

Super friendly people and excellent location. Facilities and cleaning were also great.

Our stay at CVK Taksim Hotel Istanbul turned into one of the warmest and most memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had. We originally booked through Booking.com, but due to banking issues with my card from Iran, our reservation was automatically cancelled without me realizing it until we arrived at the airport. Since internet access is limited for us and I was traveling specifically to solve banking problems, it was an incredibly stressful situation. When we arrived at the hotel and explained everything, the staff treated us with extraordinary kindness and understanding. Even though our reservation had been cancelled, they offered us the exact same room, with the same breakfast package, the same beautiful view, and the same online price we originally had. That level of fairness and humanity is very rare. The kindness didn’t stop there. Every single member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The reception team would always ask me about the tango festival I was attending nearby and made such friendly conversations that it truly felt personal and heartfelt. The breakfast staff were incredibly polite and attentive. Even late at night, whenever we ordered tea or anything else, they would kindly ask us to sit and relax while they brought everything to us. At the end of our trip, we had an issue with extra luggage and needed to leave one carry-on suitcase at the hotel for a friend to pick up later. The hotel handled it so graciously and helped us without hesitation. Travel is not only about beautiful rooms or location — it’s about how people make you feel. And CVK Taksim Hotel gave us comfort, dignity, warmth, and peace during a very stressful trip. Thank you for your incredible hospitality. I will always remember this stay with gratitude and hope to come back again.

Its only advantage is its good location and decent room service, but the check-in and check-out were very poor. We checked in late and checked out exactly at 12, which is unacceptable in terms of customer service and assistance, especially since the hotel wasn't full.

A wonderful, clean, and comfortable hotel with excellent service. Everyone is helpful and always smiling. The location is simply amazing; you can't find a better place. Breakfast is served on the terrace and is varied and delicious.

The hotel has an excellent location and the staff are wonderful, but the rooms are small and ordinary. I wouldn't give it 4 stars. There's a lack of attention to the rooms. I noticed issues like the safe could be opened without my knowledge because the sticker on the key wasn't there, and I found dirt on the wardrobe. There's no way to connect the rooms. Be careful! The hotel's name is on a map; there are two hotels in Taksim, only 4 minutes apart. I made a mistake booking this one, but the other one is a 5-star hotel, extremely luxurious. (The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location.) The price I paid wasn't worth it.

The location is excellent, the breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is helpful and cheerful. The reception staff are always ready to assist, and the air conditioning can be controlled from the rooms. The only problem is the small size of the rooms; it's difficult to move around freely with luggage. Perhaps the room furniture arrangement could be reconsidered to make it more comfortable to move around in. 😅

Ilyas and Ahmet were so helpful aiding me to find me hostel address when my phone battery died. When I discovered the hostel wasn't suitable I knew what hotel I wanted to give my money to. Exceptional service and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have never seen such an incredibly inexperienced, unpleasant, and rude employee at such a high-quality hotel. Mr. Ümran, whom I don't even want to call "Mr.", is at the reception. He has absolutely no idea how to speak to customers. Having to deal with people like this is not good for the quality of your hotel, so I'm giving all options a 1-star rating.
