About this place Brandon Hill (Cabot Tower)

Brandon Hill, the park around Cabot Tower just off Park Street, is Bristol's longest-standing outdoor gay cruising spot, noted across cruising directories for evening and after-dark meets near the tower and the wooded slopes. It is a public city-centre park used by families and walkers by day, so discretion is expected. Same-sex activity is legal in the UK and Bristol is a welcoming city, but public sexual activity remains an offence - keep encounters private and be aware of your surroundings, especially after dark.

Great view over the city. Wow, the tower and the path are quite high and narrow.

Incredible views, very narrow stairs to climb but it's worth it

It’s a free way of getting a great view of Bristol. There is no lift so not wheelchair accessible. The stairs do narrow on the last bit to the top. As you get about 4/5 of the way and can stop before it gets really narrow.
