About the event

Help us bring our trans healthcare zine to life!

Join us for a creative workshop hosted by Glasgow Zine Library. This session is open to all trans and non-binary people aged 16+.

Background
A group of trans and non-binary people have been working together to create Navigating Transition Healthcare, a zine exploring the different ways trans people can access transition care in Scotland, including NHS, private and DIY routes.
We’ve put together the written content, but now we want to bring the zine to life by adding artwork/illustrations/collage and other creative bits by trans folk. We want to create something that is that is welcoming and fun to read as well as supportive and informative for people thinking about transition.
Once completed, the zine will be distributed for free in queer community spaces across Scotland.

The workshop
This workshop is an opportunity to contribute your ideas and creativity to the zine, as well as learn a bit about about the history and ideas behind zine making. It’ll be a supportive space to mess around and see what you come up with, with no pressure to contribute in any specific way. The workshop will be facilitated by Glasgow Zine Library.
Snacks and creative materials will be provided.
