Great other than DJ playing far too loud music despite being told from waiting staff ( representing paying customers that it was putting off staying as couldn’t even hear each other). We left because of your DJ tonight ( Sat 1st Aug)

Okay, Tigerlily… I don’t usually leave reviews, but here it comes. If it wasn’t for Erin, your wonderful hostess, we would never have discovered your place. We were looking for somewhere for our last lunch in Edinburgh and were about to settle for a pub… but then we met Erin while glancing at your menu. And honestly, it’s all her fault. She lured my son in with the promise of “the best burger you’ll ever have.” Two hours later, we’d had the best meal of our 3rd(!!!) trip to Edinburgh, and my son had ordered three meals of kids’ burgers. For a child who barely eats anything, that’s about the highest compliment possible. Please don’t judge this happy mother. Happy crying here that he eats something besides chips. Your staff will remember us forever now. The food was absolutely on point, the atmosphere was stylish and very Instagram-worthy, and it’s easily one of the most underrated places in the area. As for Erin, she’s the queen bee of the restaurant. Warm, welcoming, funny, and the kind of person who turns a great meal into a memorable experience. Simply splendid. We’ll definitely be back.

Popped in to the bar for a drink and it took 25 minutes to be served. They didn't have enough staff on as all staff were rushed off their feet. The martinis were excellent when they arrived.
