It is what you pay for, a low budget hotel, with just what you need and nothing more. Ok location a short walk from Haymarket. Easy transport to the town or airport with the Airlink 100 line. Breakfast was fine. Beds was firm, and no soft pillows. Rooms are worn down. This is the kind of hotel you book just to sleep in, nothing more. All in all, I would book it again if comming back one day. But I would also look for an alternative budget option a little more near the Castle. We where 1 adult and 2 kids, Got a room with 3 single beds in.

It’s in town, which is a saving grace? The hotel is a bit mad, always guaranteed entertainment either from borders and Lothian police making a cameo or similar lunacy from the guests, all in all, a good Craic

Never Ever Book this. The worst experience ever had. I booked and stayed for 2 days but have been charged more after I checked out without my authorization. I have been chasing for more than 15 days but haven't received the response yet. They don't even acknowledge anything via email. Hotel is making error and as a customer I have to chase hotel to get my money back.

The rooms are so-so, the service uninspired, the food pathetic, and there's no coffee machine, only instant coffee, which at least makes it easier to make a decent cup. The rooms are newly renovated, but... well, the bathrooms have been updated, but the cleaning is inadequate, and the shower hose is too short and damaged.

Budget hotel that charges way too high a price. When we checked in we were told that we didn't have cleaning for the three nights we booked. You can live with that, but when the toilet barely worked, we asked for a toilet brush. "We don't provide toilet brushes," was the answer. A real letdown.
