LEAP Sports Scotland

LEAP Sports Scotland — Leadership, Equality and Active Participation — is Glasgow's LGBTI sports-inclusion charity, based at Baltic Chambers on Wellington Street in the city centre. Founded in 2012, it works to break down the barriers that keep LGBTIQ+ people out of sport and physical activity across Scotland. The charity runs the National LGBTI Sports Group, local participation projects such as Get Out Glasgow, youth and refugee sports programmes, and coordinates Festival Fortnight, an annual celebration of LGBTI sport held each summer. It also campaigns on trans inclusion and equality in Scottish sport, offering advice and training to clubs and governing bodies. For visitors and residents alike it is the first point of contact for finding LGBTIQ+-friendly sports clubs and activities in and around Glasgow.
